Product Description
Cynthia Eden delves into the dark realms of the Others, where desires and dangerous games await the unsuspecting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. . .

Assistant DA Erin Jerome has a secret. Make that two. One: She's not entirely human--she's Other, desperately trying to keep her supernatural strength under wraps. Two: she's got a killer stalking her--an Other rogue set on "gifting" her bloody corpses, not to mention nights lying awake in terror. Small wonder she's been having bad luck with men.

But the bounty hunter on her new case isn't worried about any of that. Jude Donovan is a shapeshifter himself, and the new DA's midnight hair and addictive scent tell him all he thinks he needs to know: She's gorgeous, she's definitely not human, and she's bringing out the animal in him in a really good way. He might have to track a psychotic Other stalker through half of Louisiana. But he might also get the chance to watch Erin's wild side come out and play. . .

"A fast-paced, sexy thrill ride you won't want to miss." --Christine Feehan

"It hooked me from the first page." --Christine Feehan

This book stayed in my head after I put it down. The characters are engaging and Eden's paranormal world is fresh and interesting.

This was a Kindle Freebie that I thought would probably not hold my interest. However, it was an entertaining, supernatural read and held my interest throughout the whole story.

4 out of 5 stars Has all of the elements needed to pull you in & keep you.   August 20, 2010
WhyMe?
This book was much better than the last couple of shifters stories I have read lately. The book doesn't really offer anything new to the world of shifters but, the characters are very well developed & I see a couple of future branches. This is the first book I have read that was written by this author but, I will be looking into some of her other series. I am also really interested in seeing some additional stories from the Night Watch team.

You won't wanted to miss this intriguing story about an ADA in Louisiana and the shifter bounty hunter, who is wants to get his claws into her.

4 out of 5 stars Eternal Hunter (Kindle Edition)   August 3, 2010

Eternal Hunter features Night Hunter, and shapeshifter, Jude Donovan and Assistant District Attorney Erin Jerome. The two meet after the capture of a wanted criminal, who soon after turns up dead, alone inside a jail cell. Then when Erin finds the dead man's blood inside her house, it becomes apparent that Erin has a stalker. She hires the shifter to hunt him down, but when sparks fly between the two of them, Jude starts to have his own plans for Erin's stalker. He wants him dead. Erin has her own secrets; she's not fully human either. She has a wild side, and it's calling her closer to Jude, who can handle anything she has to dish out.

This story takes you into a secret society of shifters, demons, vampires and other paranormal beings. It introduces you to the Night Hunters, bounty hunters both human and non-human. They hunt down the bad guys and either bring them to justice, or kill them, if they happen to be something that a human jail cell will not hold. In this story of Jude and Erin, I felt their hope and their despair. The characters were deep, revealing secrets along the way. Also, even though the stalker isn't revealed until the end, part of the story is told from his perspective, giving you a glimpse of a killer mind. I had hopes for the ending, but I wasn't able to guess how it ended, which to me is best kind of story.

Eternal Hunter is a very fast paced and entertaining paranormal romance book. Her characters aren't the typical paranormal kind. I enjoyed this very sensual novel.
