Product Description
An employee of the St. James Hotel in New Mexico watches in shock as a fair-haired toddler with a terribly disfigured face disappears into the floor. This is just one of the paranormal mysteries Leslie Rule shares with us-a result of extensive interviews and research uncovering the reasons behind ghost sightings across the country. Coast to Coast Ghosts features dozens of spine-tingling, real-life ghost stories and approximately 50 black-and-white photographs, taken by Rule, including some believed to have captured actual apparitions. Only the reader can decide. . . .

Read this book more than once. May 31, 2010 Stephanie Dill (New Jersey) Having read several Ghost Story books, this one is at the top of my list. I've even shared it with friends and relatives and when it recycled back to my way...I read it again! I like the style of this author's writing.
Rule Rules January 23, 2010 Timothy Ashley (Dayton,Oh) I have all Leslies books, and really love hearing about different haunted places .I think she did a truely wonderful job .Thank you Leslie.
ugh September 2, 2009 E. Speights (United States) I have no idea how this book was published. There are so many obvious grammatical errors that should have been caught. I guess the book is so dull that an editor couldn't be bothered to actually read it. Even if the grammatical mistakes weren't there it would still be horribly written. Like some of the other reviewers have stated, this book is all over the place. Each story is very short, uninteresting, and biased. Good thing this was a gift, I would be really upset if I had paid for it.
Mediocre and forgettable. May 12, 2009 Annaith (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What could have been an interesting collection of stories suffers from a vague, disjointed style with no sense of progression, transition, or really any type of storytelling at all. Another reviewer called the style "conversational," and that's actually a fairly apt description; reading these stories feels like having a conversation with someone who's easily distracted by tangential subjects, so they never get to the point of their original tale. There's little to compel the reader to care, or to believe; in fact, the overall sanctimonious tone of smugness about the author's belief and experiences just turned me off from the start. One generally reads ghost stories for a reason, whether that reason is to be frightened, amused, informed, reassured, or even validated by a similarity to one's own experiences. These stories provide nothing of the sort and are about as interesting (and meaningful) as idle conversation overheard in a cafe.
Not the usual haunted places September 9, 2008 B. N. Williams (Manchester, TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I liked this book because the problem I find with alot of books about haunted places is they are either the same old stories about the same old places or they just sound full of it. I am a paranormal investigator and there are some things you find it very hard to believe a ghost could do. Most of the stuff in this book I had never heard before and sounded pretty realistic so that makes it five stars for me.
